DON'T GIVE UP!

The recommendation letter should be written in English by a principal/teacher or academic advisor/counselor. The letter should include the following information. 

• Letterhead Template: Written on the school's/organization's official letterhead.

• Recommender's Information: Name, Position, School, Phone and Email

• Recommender's Answers to the following prompts. 

  • How have you known the applicant (in what capacity and for how long)?

  • What are the applicant's personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities?

  • Why should the applicant be considered for a scholarship?

• Word Limit: minimum 300 words

• Format: Computer Typed (no handwritten recommendation letter will be considered for admission)

• Margin: 1-inch margin

• Line spacing: Single line spacing

• Font size: 12 points Times New Roman

• Document format: PDF

Once your principal/teacher or academic advisor/counselor has written the recommendation letter, please ask him or her to send the letter privately to admission@taxila.edu.mm.

You will receive a confirmation email from us when we receive a letter from your recommender.
