Admission Requirements
The bachelor's degree programs jointly offered by Fort Hays State University and the University of Taxila is the only internationally accredited degrees based on American-style education in Myanmar. Students will not only study with Myanmar faculty from the University of Taxila but also learn from
American faculty from Fort Hays State University. Learning from the best faculty members from both countries, students will receive a quality education with practical knowledge and skills.

Application Stages
To help students navigate complex application requirements, the University of Taxila has a unique three-stage application process, which students can complete one stage at a time. If you already have the required documents for all the stages, you can complete all three stages in one setting.

The deadline for all three application stages is 11:59 PM July 31, 2024. Applicants must have completed all three application stages by the deadline to be considered for bachelor's degree program admission. Stage One
Applicants must have prepared the following documents and Information to submit the stage one application. Click here for the stage one application.

Applicant's Information - name, mobile, email, address, etc.

Parent's or Guardian's Information - name, mobile, email, address, etc.

Applicant's NRC (optional) - front and back scanned copies of national registration card

Bank Statement (optional) - a minimum of 15,000,000 MMK either in the applicant's or guardian's account

Non-refundable application fee - the payment confirmation of 175,000 MMK
Stage Two
To complete the stage two application, applicants must have prepared the following documents and information: Click here for the stage two application.

Application Essay - a 500-word essay with the title "Why Taxila?"

Scholarship Essay - a 500-word essay with the title "The Myanmar of My Dream."

Letter of Recommendation - a letter written by a teacher or an academic advisor

Applicant's NRC (optional) - front and back scanned copies of national registration card

Interview - either in-person or online interview with the admission committee
Stage Three

High School Completion or an Equivalent Certificate

Official GED Exam or Taxila Entrance Test (150 and above for each subject)​

GCE O-level or A-level (band 6 and above for each subject)

Matriculation Examination (65 and above for each subject) + Taxila Entrance Exam
